Vol.2-Chapter 262 – Secret Prison

When Li Hechaos saw his junior brother, he went to greet them with the two other disciples behind him. However, his gaze was locked onto the four figures in the middle.

His gaze swept past Zhao Jiuge’s group and stopped on the beautiful figure. His eyes shined and his mouth went dry.

“Senior Brother, there is something off about them. We shouldn’t have any ideas about them. Beauties are good, but you need to be alive to enjoy them. Most importantly, the important matter in the sect is still not complete, and there can’t be any mistakes.”

Seeing his senior brother having ideas about the beautiful woman, Messenger Liao had to speak up as they were both disciples of the same elder. Normally, it would be fine to ruin a woman like this, but right now was an important time for the sect. The identity of these people were very questionable.

“Oh? Do you think they are spies from Deer Mountain? But I don’t think they are.”

Hearing his junior brother’s words, Li Hechao looked over and frowned. Their teacher was a powerful elder of the sect and they were both at the Spirit Core Realm. Because of their identities, they had a rough understanding of their purpose here.

Their sect’s rival was Deer Mountain, but, unfortunately, their strengths were evenly matched. They wanted to exterminate each other so they could be the boss of the area. This time, the sect had suddenly received a secret message that could improve the strength of the entire Blood Fiend Pavilion. The entire sect moved out this time, and Deer Mountain had naturally caught wind of this. They were in the nearby Southern Province and could come at any time to ruin their plan.

Messenger Liao shook his head and whispered to his senior brother, “I don’t think they are people from Deer Mountain, but I don’t think they are ordinary people either. I think they are disciples from some famous orthodox sect out here to train. They must have some method to hide their spirit force, so I didn’t dare to push them. It\'s best we take them back to the secret prison and let our teacher deal with it. If they are cultivators, it would be for the best. Those two women would be great nourishment for our teacher.”

Seeing that his junior brother had brought up their teacher, Li Hechao couldn’t say more. However, when he saw how serious his junior brother’s expression was, he became a bit uneasy as well. Thinking about his junior brother’s words, he felt like there was some truth to them and gave up his own lustful ideas. He sighed in his heart and his burning gaze wandered over to Ling Bo Re. It was as if just looking at the beauty was a pleasure in itself.

Ling Bo Re naturally heard all of this, and her expression became even colder. Zhao Jiuge was still thinking about the blood pool, so their looks were somewhat similar.

It didn’t take long for them to continue toward Southern Pond Mountain, but night had enveloped the land. This time, Wu Wei felt much more confident.

When he saw the dozen or so figures wearing grey, Wu Wei was very happy, because these were his own people. Although they couldn’t match the people of the Blood Fiend Pavilion, after two months with them, they had become a lot stronger.

Everyone else walked in front, while Messenger Liao and Li Hechao walked in the back, secretly observing Zhao Jiuge’s group. The other Blood Fiend Pavilion disciples had gone on ahead.

Wu Wei followed beside Li Hechao and Messenger Liao with a flattering smile. He had seen how powerful those two were, and if he could have a good relationship with them, he would benefit greatly. However, he feared them, so he only followed them and didn’t say anything.

Song Yuansheng returned to his original temperament. Since the other side had already noticed that something was wrong, he was too lazy to keep pretending. When he heard that the blood-colored-robed young man wanted to release their blood for the blood pool, Song Yuansheng smiled.?“Once your teacher comes out, let’s see who will be releasing whose blood.”

A gentle breeze blew by along with the smell of the earth and the faint fragrance from Ling Bo Re’s body. When Zhao Jiuge caught this fragrance, the anger in his heart dissipated and his mood became inexplicably good.

Soon, they arrived at the bottom of the mountain. On the way here, they had encountered several groups patrolling the area, and at the foot of the mountain were six Blood Fiend Pavilion disciples guarding the entrance. At this point, Wu Wei’s people were no longer needed.

At the foot of the mountain was a deep canyon. This place was different from the darkness they faced on the way here. The canyon was brightly lit up even at night, and noise could be heard.

Song Yuansheng and Zhao Jiuge looked at each other. They knew what the others were thinking. They seemed to have arrived at their destination. The surrounding trees trembled due to the night wind, and because of the light from the canyon, the shadows looked like ghosts devouring all light.

The six Blood Fiend Pavilion disciples were a bit nervous when they saw a dozen or so figures suddenly appearing here. When they saw Li Hechao, they relaxed as it was their own people.

They were only ordinary disciples, while Li Hechao’s status was much higher than theirs. They didn’t dare to delay Li Hechao and quickly allowed them to pass. Li Hechao waved his hand and the group went into the canyon. Zhao Jiuge’s group was prepared to attack at any moment if the situation went wrong.

After taking a few turns, they arrived at the heart of the canyon, where the Blood Fiend Pavilion had set up camp.

Zhao Jiuge looked over and saw that the bottom of the canyon was a flat. This was a good geographic location. One had to go through this place to get to Southern Pond Mountain. This place was like a steel barrel—aside from the canyon, there was no other entrance or exit.

There were over a dozen simple tents set up in the middle, with campfires everywhere. The entire area was lit up as bright as day.

Zhao Jiuge immediately saw the entire situation, and when he saw all the figures, his pupils shrank. Aside from the people who were on guard, there were still about 40 to 50 blood-robed disciples! The jade stated that there were over 100 members of the Blood Fiend Pavilion; where were they now? As for Wu Wei’s grey-robed men, none of them were to be found. They were probably patrolling the area around the mountain.

The other three were also secretly observing the situation and also felt strange that there were only about 50 people here. The reason they had spent so much effort to get captured and come here like this was so they could capture them all without a single person escaping. However, they thought that the remaining people were nearby.

They found an interesting phenomenon. The strongest cultivators here were about a dozen or so Spirit Core Realm disciples. The rest were some Foundation Realm and Spirit Transformation Realm disciples. There were no disciples below the Spirit Transformation Realm. This showed just how powerful and fast the disciples of the Blood Fiend Pavilion cultivated.

When they arrived, the group of people drinking near the fires noticed them. When they noticed the four of them, the dozens of figures stopped drinking and stood up. They followed the lead, a handsome 30-year-old man with a slender flying sword on his back. They noisily pointed and shouted at the four unknown figures.

When they noticed Ling Bo Re’s beauty, they all began clamoring and their breathing became rough. They wanted to watch their fill. When had they ever seen such a beautiful woman before? They had all been stuck here for months and were about to go crazy. If it wasn’t for the fact that this matter was so important and all the elders were keeping an eye on them, they would have already gone out to have fun.

“Senior Brother Li, what’s the situation? Who are these four?” the handsome man named Zhu Liangjun asked with a smile. However, his shoes shined and he occasionally glanced at Ling Bo Re. This man was also a disciple of an elder, so his status was similar to Li Hechao’s.

Messenger Liao only looked at his senior brother. With his senior brother here, he didn’t have to worry about anything. Li Hechao looked at Zhu Liangjun and felt disgust. He didn’t like this sly fellow, but he couldn’t offend him either.

He smiled and said, “Junior Brother Zhu, these are a few people of unknown origin that we caught. We are going to take them to the secret prison and wait for Teacher to come out to make a decision.”

“These ordinary people require the third elder to come make a decision? Just kill them. it\'s only four people, we have killed much more.” Zhu Liangjun rolled his eyes and looked at Ling Bo Re. His words clearly contained hidden intent.

Li Hechaos let out a cold snort. How could he not see through Zhu Liangjun’s hidden intent? Li Hechaos himself would have had a taste before Zhu Liangjun ever got a chance. However, he had decided to listen to his junior brother and gift this woman to his teacher. As long as his teacher was happy, they would be able to obtain treasures and spells.

“Junior Brother Zhu, these people are of great use to my teacher. If anything happens to them and my teacher’s plan gets delayed, we won’t be able to withstand the consequences.”

Li Hechao’s tone had become higher and he showed a threatening intent; he had even brought up his teacher’s reputation.

After he finished speaking, he ignored Zhu Liangjun’s reaction and waved his hand at the two disciples that came with him. “Take these four into the secret prison. Junior Brother, go to the cave and inform Teacher of this matter.”

Hearing Li Hechao’s order, the two disciples led Zhao Jiuge’s group into the secret prison, while Messenger Liao went to find his teacher.

Wu Wei stood on the side with his people and didn’t intervene in this matter. As long as he could live freely, he didn’t want to get too involved.
